Welcome New Patients
Your first visit to Door Creek Dental will include a thorough appointment with a Dental Hygienist including any necessary x-rays.
After your Hygienist has completed a thorough evaluation of your dental health, your Dentist will perform a comprehensive examination of your entire oral cavity. This includes a head and neck exam for oral disease and cancer, as well as an evaluation of the teeth and supporting tissue.
Please allow 80 minutes for this visit.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS
Our offices are located on the corner of Cottage Grove Road [Hwy BB] and Sprecher Road, next to Kwik Trip. Parking is in the rear, via Kilpatrick Lane.
Cancellation Policy
At Door Creek Dental, our doctors & hygienists want to be available for your needs and the needs of all our patients. When a patient does not show up for a scheduled appointment, another patient loses an opportunity to be seen. We understand that illness and emergencies occur and will accommodate for those rare instances. However, if you do need to cancel an appointment, we respectfully ask for 48 hour notice. A $50 fee may be charged to your account for not honoring this policy.

How often should I schedule a dental check-up and cleaning?
Routine dental visits are crucial for maintaining oral health. It is recommended by dentists that both children and adults receive a professional dental cleaning every six months. Some patients with a higher risk for periodontal disease may require more frequent visits. Cleanings and exams are necessary to detect and address dental concerns early on. What insurance do you accept, and do you offer payment plans for dental services?
We understand the importance of financial considerations in dental care. Our practice accepts most dental insurance plans. We offer various in-office membership plans, as well as flexible payment plans to ensure affordability for our patients. We strive to make quality care accessible to each patient. Do you treat patients of all ages, including children?

Do you offer emergency dental services, and how quickly can I get an appointment in case of an emergency?
Yes, we prioritize dental emergencies. Contact us immediately, and we will schedule your appointment promptly. Outside regular office hours, we have a provider available on-call to speak with you. If you are unsure if what you are experiencing is a dental emergency, we are also here to answer any questions you may have.
How can I manage dental anxiety or fear during my visit?
We understand the thought of coming to the dentist may come with anxiety or fear. Whether it be fear of the unknown, a poor experience at a previous office, or personal accommodations we are here for you! At Door Creek Dental our staff is willing to do what is necessary to ensure your visit is as comfortable as possible. We do provide nitrous oxide which many patients find to be relaxing and ease anxiety; this can be requested at your appointment.

Can I transfer my dental records from another office to your practice?
Yes, if you are considering becoming an established patient at Door Creek Dental, we welcome you. Contact our office and we’ll guide you through the process. Our business team is well-trained in efficiently transferring records into our system. We will do our best to contact your previous office and obtain the necessary documentation. If you don’t have records to transfer over, we have online new patient forms that are very straightforward to fill out.
Can I get a cost estimate for my treatment plan before scheduling procedures?
Absolutely. We understand the importance of transparency in dental costs. We are happy to provide you with a detailed cost estimate for your treatment plan, either over the phone or in our office on the day of your exam. We strive to answer all financial and treatment questions prior to scheduling your procedures, ensuring you are comfortable and can make informed decisions about your dental care.
Do you offer teeth whitening or cosmetic dentistry services?
At Door Creek Dental we offer both teeth whitening and cosmetic dentistry services. From custom bleaching trays to veneers, to even clear aligners we have you covered. Contact our office to schedule your consultation today, our providers would be happy to discuss the options most suitable for you.
What is the typical duration of a dental appointment?
The duration of a dental appointment can vary based upon the nature of the visit. Routine cleanings and exams usually take 60 to 90 minutes, while more complex procedures may require additional time. We prioritize efficiency without compromising thoroughness. Our staff will do our very best to accommodate your availability accordingly.
Can I get referrals to specialists if needed?
Certainly! We work in collaboration with a variety of trusted specialists to cover all your dental needs. Although we provide a wide range of dental procedures at Door Creek Dental, we are aware some treatment plans may require specialized care to efficiently complete your treatment. Your oral health is our priority and we are committed to connecting you with the right experts when needed.
Do you provide sedation options for nervous patients or for more extensive procedures?
No, we do not offer in-office sedation or general anesthesia. At our practice, we do provide nitrous oxide; it helps patients relax and relieves anxiety. This can be administered during routine cleanings to more extensive procedures. Although we do not offer in-office sedation, we work with many specialty offices that do provide such services. Please let our staff know what we can do to make you feel more comfortable during your visit.
